Adobe has recently announced the launch of its new Content-Aware Fill workspace. It allows you to remove objects or distracting elements from your images easier than ever before.
This new option offers an interactive editing experience. Now, you can take full Control over which "good" parts of the picture to use to replace the undesired areas. It allows resizing the initial selection, rotating, scaling, and mirroring content.
Enjoy a range of new tools
The latest version of the software provides a new Frame Tool that allows you to enjoy much simpler masking. Now, you can place shapes and text into placeholder frames and fill them with pictures. To create elliptical or rectangular forms, you only need to select the Frame Tool and press "K."
There is also a new default feature of multiple undo. If you want to view an object before changes are applied, just click Control + Z (for Windows OS) and Command + Z (for macOS). Don't worry about losing any project changes in Adobe Photoshop on your MacBook Air or MacBook Pro. With a new auto-commit feature, they are saved automatically.

- The Save for Web dialog has been updated with a modern interface, delivering a more consistent and refreshed experience aligned with the rest of Photoshop.
- File handling and preferences
- A new preference allows users to open JPEG files as a regular layer rather than a locked background layer streamlining workflows for users who routinely unlock the background.
- New documents can now optionally be created without a default background layer, giving users a transparent canvas from the start.
- Performance and infrastructure
- The internal Metrics module has been refactored to only handle heavy-use metrics, reducing telemetry overhead and improving application responsiveness during normal operation.
- The Canvas HUD diagnostics have been relocated from the canvas context area to the View menu for better discoverability and cleaner canvas interaction.

PRICE details: "US$22.99/mo. for the annual billed monthly plan." I.E. subscriptionware. It's worth comparing your imaging requirements between a variety of applications. A selection of alternative apps: • GIMP is open source freeware. • Acorn v8 costs $20. • Affinity Photo v2 costs $70. (Check out their full suite, including Designer and Publisher). • GraphicConverter v12 costs $40. • Pixelmator Pro v3 costs $50. • Apple Photo comes with macOS. - - And there are others.

The value of what this software can do stays the same, while the price keeps going up. Adobe just did a price increase again just this week. I'm assuming because more and more people are canceling their subscriptions and switching to something like Affinity Photo or Pixelmator Pro or other software. I have to use PS at work, but then I don't pay for it there, the company does. Meanwhile, it feels like I am beta testing Adobe's buggy software for them. InDesign crashes on me at least once every 2 days. Still waiting for PS to allow animated GIFs on artboards.

Adobe needs to do a total overhaul of Photoshop. To drop the subscription model, and make the price to reflect the REALITY. $400 or so price was the reason that the market oversaturated with "illegal" copies. But if the price would have been an affordable real life price, something like $100 or $150, then it would be a game changer. 90% of all those who need it or would like to have it, will easily spend this amount. Everybody win.

This listing is wrong. Photoshop 2022 is version 23. Therefore the 24.3 update is for Photoshop 2023. It was also released 11 days ago yet for some reason is just listed today.
