• Edit specific areas with AI using masks
  Combine a selection with an instruction to change specific areas while preserving surrounding details, faces, and other important elements. The AI respects your mask boundary for targeted generative edits.
• Customize the file formats in Save As
  Reorder, show, or hide file formats in the Save As and Save a Copy dialogs so your most-used formats are always easy to find.
• Adjust lighting with a new non-destructive Light adjustment layer
  Apply exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, and blacks adjustments as a dedicated Light adjustment layer that you can re-edit or mask at any time. 
• Search and place Adobe Stock content directly in Photoshop
  Browse, preview, and place Adobe Stock photos, vectors, and illustrations directly onto your canvas without leaving Photoshop. 
• Flow text along any shape or path
• Apply text to any shape or path and control its position and direction with expanded Dynamic Text options. 
• Improve performance on AMD Zen 4 and Zen 5 processors
• Get faster performance for compute-intensive operations on compatible AMD Zen 4 and Zen 5 processors.
• LTS version update
  The current LTS version of Photoshop 2026 is 26.11.7.

Customer-reported fixes

• Incorrect alpha blending on the canvas at different zoom levels when Blend RGB Colors Using Gamma 1.00 was enabled.
• Export As window appearing behind Photoshop, not retaining its size between sessions, and displaying a pixelated preview.
• Alt-clicking an adjustment not remembering the last-used adjustment settings, such as Levels.

Crash fixes

• [Mac] Photoshop crashes when clicking the scrubby slider in Hue/Saturation adjustment properties.
• Photoshop crashes after changing the angle in the Gradient Fill dialog for the Frame tool.
• Photoshop crashes when changing tones in adjustment layers, including Color Balance.
• Photoshop crashes during Light adjustment layer processing on Apple Silicon.
• Photoshop crashes after relaunching the application following generative operations.
• Photoshop crashes when adjusting disabled sliders in the Content-Aware Fill workspace.
• Photoshop crashes during application quit or launch due to a font context unwind issue.
• Photoshop crashes during panel updates, including when resetting Hue/Saturation adjustment defaults after switching tools.
• Photoshop crashes during sheet composition when unpacking frame groups.

Generative AI fixes

• Incorrect error message displayed when editing a prompt with the Firefly Image 5 model in Prompt to edit.
• Generated image appearing squished in A4 documents when using the Firefly Image 5 model.
• Slow performance in the Prompt to edit workflow on large documents.
• Markup icon appeared detached and floating between the prompt field and action toolbar.
• Photoshop switched to AI Assisted mode before the optimization dialog was confirmed.
• Canceling the switch to AI Assisted mode does not return to the previous state.
• Live Gaussian Blur responded slowly during interactive slider adjustments on Mac.
• Recording an action from Prompt to edit deleted an unexpected layer. 

UI, dialogs, and panels

• [Win] Adobe Stock search field truncated in the stock content panel.
• Show Extras Options dialog had layout issues, including truncated text and incorrect spacing.
• The Options bar clipped when the display resolution was set to 800 × 600.
• Program error when converting text on a path to a Dynamic Text circle shape.
• Rendering artifacts when moving a layer, including white and black borders appearing around the layer.
• Slow transform performance with shape layers.
• Toggle switches changed state before the optimization dialog was confirmed.
• Layer not converted to a Dynamic layer when clicking the conversion icon.

• Hue/Saturation slider performance degraded when working with large documents (5 GB+).
• 16-bit Light adjustment layer sliders respond slowly after an optimization change.

• 32-bit color mode conversion discarding CICP metadata and the original color profile.
• Content Credentials metadata conflict when editing signed images from Lightroom Classic.
• Redundant PNG encoding during Firefly image export.

• Keyboard Shortcuts dialog overlaps the Cancel button in localized builds.
